How about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? You think Johnny Depp/Tim Burton and children/candy will mix?
This is a 50/50 for me, because I love Johnny Depp/Tim Burton movies, but still uncertain how it will go.

Wasn't Top Gun like a gay version of Iron Eagle? I just remember Val Kilmer like "biting" at Tom Cruise in the volleyball scene.
I tried to emulate Tom Cruise from Risky Business--but I guess it only works if your parents are rich and like know alot of judges and cops. Oh--and if the prostitute you take with you on the train is not a guy.
/sigh
14 years of therapy that little stunt cost me.
Actually--I think Dukes of Hazard is prob gonna suck--come on--look at who is playing Boss Hogg.
As far as what is the worst--I dunno. Herbie maybe-but then again it is being billed as a kids movie type thing. The honeymooners is going to suck--but that one wasn't even hyped up.
I kind of liked both X-men movies--so X3 might not be too bad--as long as they don't go crazy and try to put in storylines for 30 different chars into 1hr30 mins
So far--my biggest disappointment was Star Wars so far. If a bad movie is over hyped--that pisses me off more than one that you know might not be that good before you watch it.

I am going to go out on a limb here and state that this one will be one of the worst movies ever made.
I only say that because the original has to be one of the best musical/kids movies out there. It would be like someone doing a remake of A Christmas Story. Or remaking Casablanca or gone with the wind.
I know they say they are putting a Burton spin on it all--but still.

Corpse Bride? Enchanting ...
Chocolate Factory? That ain't chocolate running through those pipes ... Although I applaud Mr. Depp for committing himself to movies which his children can enjoy ... he may have gone a little too far into a realm which is tooooo sacred for most ... therefore ... he and Burton EACH get a razzie ...
Tim Burton always gets a razzie from me ... simply because he picked a fight with Kevin Smith ... sure, Kev started it ... as a joke ... but you don't mess with Silent Bob baby! Quick Stop ... 4 Life!!! SNOOTCH!!!

Heyyyy ... who wants to pick on that Stealth movie? With the plane that gets too smart? To control it, do you have to think in Russian?
One Golden Oreo to the lucky child who can name the movie I'm alluding to ... S&H not included ...

Stealth is the name of the bad movie for this summer ... and Firefox is the name of the Clint Eastwood movie with the plane where he had to think in Russian ...
Why is it that there are so few GOOD airplane movies? Except that one ... where they named the movie ... hmmm ... what was it ... Battle over Macho Grande ... and the jive talking ... and Ted Striker ... they named that movie something ...
Anyway ... that movie ... and Hot Shots ... only two good plane movies ... everything else belongs on this list ... INCLUDING that scientologist's little ditty about him and a water fowl ...

The dEvils ReJecTs - stupid l33t capitilisation + awful trailer + unoriginal premise = awful. If it isn't awful i'll eat my shoe.
Fantastic 4 - looks like ultimate no brainer cheese.
Kung Fu Hustle - looks like being either cult genius or a pile of dinosaur poo.
Films I am looking forward to:
Unleashed (Formally Danny the Dog)
Madagascar

We're supposed to be talking about which movies we think are really REALLY going to suck this summer. Like be too cheesy, have really bad acting ... you know ... something for all of us to bitch about to take our minds off the heat ...
Kinda like how Tom Cruise needs to stop thinking that if WotW flops, he and Speilberg will have hit the hat trick ... which means that he'll be a couple billion short of the top rank in that little Scientology club he's in ...
Nowwwwww ... discuss ...
